25 Jan 2010 12:23 AM "Words I Hate"

I really dislike the word "Blogosphere."

This is a motion to stop using it in everyday language. Also, "moist" is a terrible word that should never be uttered.

Here is a longer list:

Crocs

Panties

Blago (as in, failed governor of my home state, Illinois. I feel this word makes us refer to him much too affectionately. We should only refer to him as an "it" and he should have a title like "The most recent failure from the Chicago Political Machine")

Missourah.

That's all I can think of.

Thanks for obliging.

  1. But Sam, Blago should be thought of affectionately, he is our special hometown scum (whom I believe I voted for). His amoral behavior is so ridiculously over the top that we can't help but laugh at him. He has the resume of a villain but I am about as scared of him as I was Joe Pesci in Home Alone. He is practically a cartoon character, someone who deserves a cartoon name. Hence Blago. If anything it's not affectionate enough... he needs something like Blagoy Boy! He fits right in on celebrity apprentice with Da Trump.

  2. I love Missouruh. It's the only word I find accurate to describe this place in which I now seem to exist.

  3. RAAG! I had NO idea that you ever read my blog. I suppose I didn't think about it that way. I am very glad he is no longer on that show with "da Trump."

I wish I had more artistic talent, because I could easily then, make a comic book that featured "Blagoy boy" and his misadventures, crimes and exceptional use of profanity.
